Want to Play?

Why not come and join our friendly squad of young players.

You will find that there is a place for you at this Club at all ability levels.

Like any Club we seek experienced quality players. If you have 'played a bit' and fancy 'trying out'

for one of our teams then WELCOME.

If you would simply like to try our sport for the the first time or want to improve your skills COME ALONG and HAVE A GO!

We seek to create and foster a safe environment where children can learn about our sport and parents are more than welcome to get involved.

It's a Great Sport!

Cricket is a minority game in Scotland, but our club continues to prosper as we recognize that developing young people in our sport is critical to our future. To this end we have been instrumental in conducting cricket coaching in East Kilbride Schools for over ten years.

The Club has its own Junior Committee, to increase and focus its effort on junior cricket. We have a 'track record' of successfully developing young players. EKCC young players have represent Scotland, in junior teams and three of our juniors have visited Australia with West District.

EKCC have joined Scottish Cricket's 'TOP Club' Scheme under which the Club have gained national recognition and approval for their policies and organization of junior cricket.  For details of this scheme 'click the Top Club 'logo'.

At the end of season 2006 we achieved the TOP Club Bronze Award (at the time only 6 clubs in Scotland had achieved this).

of the 'adult' game.

Don't worry about equipment. The Club will supply all your child needs to get started. Before

considering purchasing cricket kit please talk to your child's Team Manager.
